Students of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers of the Republic of Uzbekistan are undergoing an internship in S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University, organized in the period from June 25 to July 4.
In order to study, acquire and expand practical professional skills and experience, 17 representatives of the Uzbek university are on a visit to our country. Among them are a teacher and 5 students of the Faculty of Hydro-reclamation, as well as a teacher and 10 students of the faculty Agricultural Mechanization Institute. A warm and cordial high-level welcome was organized for the guests of the Turkmen Agrarian University. During the tour of the Turkmen university, teachers and students from the friendly country were thoroughly familiarized with the structure and campus of the university.
During the internship, they attend joint classes and lectures with professors and teachers. Visiting events and meetings are held for the guests of the university on the basis of specialized and related institutions and enterprises. For representatives of the Tashkent Institute as well visits to the International Science and Technology Park have been organized the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, the State Central Botanical Garden of the Ministry of Agriculture, and the University's Experimental Farm.
A cultural and entertainment program is also being held for guests from Uzbekistan, as part of which they were particularly impressed by a walk through the Tashkent Park in the capital, symbolizing strong Turkmen-Uzbek friendship. It should be noted that the internship of students is carried out within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement signed in April 2018 between the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers Republic of Uzbekistan and S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University.
As part of the established bilateral cooperation between universities, a return visit of teachers and students of the S.A.Niyazov TSU to friendly Uzbekistan is planned from July 6 to 17. As expected, to complete a similar internship at the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation Engineers and a teacher and 10 students of the Faculty of Hydro-melioration, as well as a teacher and 10 students will go to the agricultural mechanization department Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization. Representatives of Turkmen and Uzbek universities express confidence that these mutual meetings will contribute to strengthening effective interuniversity ties and forming a solid foundation for further cooperation.
