Advanced training for modern managers

In the context of rapid changes and growing challenges, government agencies face important tasks, the key factor in successfully solving which are the professionalism and flexibility of managers, their high personal qualities, and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing situation.

The professional retraining program «Master of Public Administration - for Managers» offered by the Russian Presidential Academy (RANEPA) is aimed at developing these competencies in managers.

A representative of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Turkmenistan, a teacher of the Department of State and International Law, who successfully passed the selection competition, began training under this program, which will significantly improve the quality of management and introduce modern approaches in the work of state and municipal bodies.

This Program is designed specifically to train modern world-class managers, united by a common understanding of modern challenges and state tasks, who have the vision, knowledge, skills and motivation to work effectively in the civil service, public institutions, non-profit organisations and business structures. The value of this program lies in high-quality, modern education and in the formation of a community of highly qualified managers who achieve professional heights and are ready to contribute to broad interstate cooperation with their activities. The target audience of the program is managers who are state and municipal employees, managers of companies with state participation, representatives of the legislative branch, the social sphere (universities, cultural institutions, etc.), and the public sector of the economy.

The program is designed for 6 months and includes 5 modules: 4 in-person and 1 online. Upon completion, students receive a Diploma of Professional Retraining. Each module covers key topics relevant to executives in the public sector: modern management technologies in the public sector; personal effectiveness of the manager; global development trends and new management methods in the digital world; change management in a big city; development of leadership potential and intercultural interaction.

The training covers such aspects as the structure and functions of government institutions, the thinking of a civil servant, self-development and time management, emotional intelligence, business etiquette and protocol, digitalisation and artificial intelligence, urban studies and sustainable development of municipalities, as well as public speaking skills and international protocol.

In the context of globalisation and digitalisation, government agencies must be as adaptive and innovative as possible. The program pays special attention to strategic planning, project management and the implementation of digital technologies - from e-government to the use of big data and analytics for making management decisions. This allows not only to optimise processes, but also to increase the transparency and accessibility of public services.

In addition, the personal effectiveness of the manager is considered a key element of successful management. Students master time management techniques, stress resistance and development of emotional intelligence, which contributes to increased productivity and the quality of decisions made.

Great importance is attached to the development of leadership qualities and skills for working in multinational teams. In the CIS countries and in the international arena, the ability to effectively interact with representatives of different cultures is becoming an important competitive advantage. The program includes trainings aimed at developing motivation, inspiring teams and conducting a dialogue of cultures.

For managers working in dynamically developing cities, the ability to manage change is becoming critical. The program offers modern tools for developing adaptation strategies, risk management and implementing innovative solutions at the municipal level. Studying successful international practices allows them to be applied taking into account local specifics.

The professional retraining program of the Russian Presidential Academy provides managers with the opportunity to receive high-quality modern education, expand their professional horizons and become part of a community of highly qualified managers. The knowledge and skills they gain will help them effectively cope with the challenges of the time and make a significant contribution to the development of public administration and interstate cooperation.
