The era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state marked a qualitatively new stage in the history of domestic entrepreneurship, the accelerated development of which was and remains one of the key factors in the formation of a competitive national economy.

Steadily continuing the balanced strategy of socio-economic development of the country initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Hero-Arkadag, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasizes the need to expand the private sector, which plays an important role in increasing the export potential of the Fatherland, creating new industrial production, and strengthening food abundance.

Taking a course on deepening market relations, Turkmenistan is doing everything possible to stimulate entrepreneurial activity, creating optimal legal, economic, financial and social conditions. In this regard, relevant laws are being improved, and effective budget, tax and banking policies are being implemented.

Thanks to the opportunities and significant benefits provided, Turkmen entrepreneurs are enthusiastically mastering new areas of activity every year, carefully studying and adopting the best practices of foreign countries, establishing contacts with potential business partners, making a worthy contribution to turning Turkmenistan into a self-sufficient, industrially developed state.

It is no coincidence that in the Program “Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State: National Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052”, the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country for 2022-2028, the Investment Program, etc., great importance is attached to the activation of public-private cooperation, the opening of new innovative enterprises, and the introduction of effective business methods.

The enormous support of business initiatives of small and medium-sized businesses from the state directly facilitates the increasing investment activity, privatization of state-owned objects, and the implementation of a scientifically sound economic course in a market economy and, as a result, even greater saturation of the domestic market with domestically produced goods.

By the way, high-quality competitive products of the “Made in Turkmenistan” brand are successfully promoted to foreign markets. Representatives of domestic business circles – members of the UIET – worthily represent our country at the international level, taking an active part in exhibitions, conferences, business forums held abroad.

According to the dictates of the times, special attention is paid to improving the scientific and educational base. Thus, guided by the tasks of supporting the entrepreneurial and business sectors in the training, retraining of personnel with higher education and in improving their qualifications, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on June 27 via the digital system approved the decision of the Board of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and signed the Decree “On the establishment of the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs”, as well as the relevant documents on the appointment of the heads of the new university.

Already in the 2025-2026 academic year, the international university, which will be located in the new building that is being prepared for opening, will accept its first students in the bachelor’s program.

In this regard, the Ministry of Education has been instructed to provide assistance in the development and approval in accordance with the legally established procedure of the Charter and structure of the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs; the new university’s procedure for licensing activities in the field of education and professional training, as well as state accreditation of educational activities; the preparation of curricula in areas of training (specialties) in accordance with international standards.

Thus, the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, where foreign teachers and specialists will be invited to conduct classes in accordance with the established procedure, will become the main forge of highly qualified personnel for the domestic business environment in the coming years.

It is this young generation of literate, proactive, goal-oriented entrepreneurs, who will receive a decent education in a new international-level higher school, who will contribute to the further improvement of the rapidly developing private sector of the national economy, making a significant contribution to the sustainable development and prosperity of our country, achieving the high goals and objectives of the new historical era in the name of the happiness and well-being of our native people.
