Professors of Xi'an Petroleum University and Hebei Petroleum Vocational Technical University of China the People's Republic of China conducts an internship for young teachers of the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayeva.

The working visit of representatives of Chinese universities to Turkmenistan is taking place in order to implement a joint project to create Lu Ban's workshop at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas, as well as the development of bilateral cooperation and exchange of experience between partner universities.

During the one-week internship aimed at improving the qualifications and expanding the professional skills of Turkmen teachers, training sessions on the introduction of innovative technologies in the teaching of computer science and applied geology are held.

This course will be of great importance in studying the experience of specialized foreign universities in training highly qualified personnel for the oil and gas industry.

The internship for Turkmen teachers is organized within the framework of the Memorandum signed in October 2024 on mutual understanding on the creation of the Lu Ban Workshop in Turkmenistan between the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas and Xi'an Petroleum University, Hebei Petroleum Vocational University, China National Petroleum Corporation CNPC, and the Chinese Association for International Educational Exchange.

Recall that the initiative to promote the Workshop project Lu Banya" in Turkmenistan was voiced in a joint statement signed by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Chinese President Xi Jinping following talks in Beijing in January 2023.

Lu Ban's workshops, which originated in China, have gained popularity in dozens of countries around the world. They represent a large-scale project that has created an effective platform for international exchange and cooperation in the field of science and vocational education.

The creation of the Lu Ban Workshop in Turkmenistan will largely be promote the training of high-level specialists, engineers, technologists with deep knowledge and professional skills in the context of rapidly developing innovative technologies.
