Students and teachers of the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan completed an industrial internship in Romania at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, as well as international companies «Tenaris», «Bosch» and «Emerson».

Summer industrial internship for representatives of the Turkmen university was organised from the 1st to 21st of July within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (TUCN) and the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan.
The purpose of the trip is to consolidate and expand the knowledge gained by students during their studies, to form and improve the professional skills of students in the field of telecommunications, automation, programming and computer systems.
For three weeks, a team of students and teachers from Turkmenistan worked on tasks in relevant IT areas under the guidance of experienced foreign colleagues and mentors according to a jointly agreed and approved program.
Practical classes, trainings and master classes were held in the educational and production laboratories of the Romanian university and the production buildings of the companies «Tenaris», «Bosch» and «Emerson», cooperating with this university.
During the internship, the Turkmen group studied the work of various intelligent devices in the field of data processing, in particular, an information and analytical web-oriented intelligent system for data analysis.
The internship largely contributed to the development of skills of the students in independent and collective work, their ability to select and systematise information to solve assigned tasks, and successfully apply theoretical knowledge in practice. In addition, participation in this internship allowed students to study advanced foreign experience, the latest technologies and principles of operation of modern equipment and machinery.
Within the framework of the bilateral Cooperation Agreement signed in 2019 between the Turkmen and Romanian universities, an effective and fruitful partnership has been established in the field of science and education, telecommunications and information technology.
Internships and mobile learning are regularly organised for Turkmen students, which helps to improve the professional skills and abilities of students, enriches their experience and knowledge acquired within the walls of their institute.
During the visit to Romania, Turkmen students donated books by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov «Youth is the support of the Motherland» and «Magtymguly - the sage of the world» to representatives of international companies.
At a meeting with the staff of the International Department of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca and the companies «Tenaris», «Bosch» and «Emerson», the guests from the Turkmen university made a presentation on the theme of the motto of 2025 in Turkmenistan, proclaimed the «International Year of Peace and Trust». It was noted that by consistently implementing a foreign policy course based on the principles of positive neutrality and widely supported by the UN, Turkmenistan makes a significant contribution to strengthening constructive international dialogue for the sake of universal well-being and achieving the global Sustainable Development Goals.
