From July 7 to August 4, 27 English language teachers from a number of domestic higher and secondary educational institutions are in Almaty to participate in a seminar held within the framework of the US C5+ONE regional program.

Event of the C5+ONE program (Opening Networks through English - Establishing professional contacts through English) brought together English language teachers from five countries Central Asia - Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

The participants of the seminar undergo an intensive English language training course according to an adapted educational professional training program. During practical classes and master classes, teachers study modern methods of teaching English, actively work to improve their English language proficiency, and improve their knowledge and skills. Teachers also share personal experiences and successful examples of applying best practices in teaching English and digital technologies in the learning process schoolchildren and students.

Training under the C5+ONE program helps improve the language skills of Turkmen teachers, enrich their professional experience, expand useful contacts and establish mutually beneficial cooperation. The event will further introduce the best international practices into the national English teaching methodology language.

The current seminar in Almaty is the second stage of the educational program for teachers. In general, the program includes three interrelated stages. The first of them was held in the online learning format from May 13 to June 9. As part of the third stage, which will take place from September 2025 to May.

In 2026, networking, collaboration, and professional development activities are planned. The C5+ONE regional program is aimed at developing professional contacts through English in Central Asia.

The participants of the C5+ONE program are representatives of educational institutions, government agencies, civil society and the private sector from Central Asian countries. The program includes intensive English courses.
