In the Lebap velayat, preparations are underway for the new academic year and a significant date — the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth. In this regard, relevant events are held not only in educational institutions, but also in organizations responsible for providing the population with school supplies. An example of this is the "School markets" organized by the Union of Consumer Societies of the velayat throughout the region.

Since August 1 of this year, 67 retail outlets have been operating in the velayat, 34 of which are located in markets within the velayat, and 33 are located near stores. At the "School markets", customers are offered various types of school supplies for secondary school students, as well as school uniforms taking into account the age characteristics of students.

It should be noted that the markets also offer goods for creative activities, which are of great interest to buyers. Another feature is that most of the school supplies and uniforms sold here are of domestic production. In addition to the outlets belonging to the Union of Consumer Societies of the velayat, the State Wholesale and Retail Trade Company "Lebap" has opened 10 additional points with all types of school supplies and uniforms. 6 of these are located in the markets of Turkmenabat, two in Seydi and two more in Magdanly. In addition, a wide range of school supplies is presented in the markets and private stores located in Turkmenabat and other cities and etraps of the velayat.

There is currently a steady stream of visitors to the School markets and shops. This indicates that on September 1st the younger generation will be ready and proud to cross the entries of comprehensive secondary schools.
