The Turkmen delegation took part in the International Conference on Youth Employment and Skills Development

The delegation of Turkmenistan participated in the International Conference on Youth Employment and Skills Development "Dialogue of Partners for an effective transition from education to work", held from September 24 to 26 in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan.

The international Forum brought together experts and practitioners, international specialists, representatives of government agencies from different countries.

Central Asia, the European Union and the Western Balkans. The structure the Turkmen delegation included representatives of the Ministries of Education, Labor and Social Protection of the Population, as well as a youth organization of Turkmenistan named after Makhtumkuli.

The conference discussed topical issues of youth employment, the implementation of active measures in the labor market and the introduction of innovative solutions to support young professionals.

During the discussions, the members of the Turkmen delegation stressed the importance of developing vocational education, expanding mentoring programs, and the relationship between educational planning and analytics real-time labor market, expansion of dual forms of education. Representatives of domestic government agencies also noted the need to increase the share of educational modules practiced in production, improve the professional competencies of teachers in the "green" and digital fields, and involve young people in the modern labor market. It was noted that Turkmenistan pays special attention to the training of highly qualified personnel in accordance with the needs of the economy and the creation of conditions for the comprehensive development and self-realization of young professionals.

The participation of Turkmen delegates in the forum contributed to the strengthening of regional cooperation and the exchange of best practices in youth employment and human capital development.
