Every year on October 10, Turkmenistan solemnly celebrates the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers, which is accompanied by gatherings of industry professionals, scientific-practical conferences, and other events.
In our current era, our happy people, united around Arkadagly Hero Serdar and Hero-Arkadag, live in an atmosphere of creativity and high spiritual uplift, following the principles of a healthy lifestyle. This is evidenced by words of pride for the Motherland voiced at meetings held in honor of the holiday in the capital, the city of Arkadag, as well as in the velayats and etraps of the country.
A festive event organized by the velayat hyakimlik was held at the Palace of Culture named after Malikguly Berdimuhamedov in the village of Yzgant, in Gokdepe etrap of Ahal velayat. The musical performance “Biz Arkadagly Gahryman Serdarly zamananyň bagtly lukmanlary” inspired the audience.
The performances by singers and musicians from the Gokdepe etrap Culture Center, along with melodic songs by the winners of the President of Turkmenistan’s contest “Türkmeniň Altyn asyry” added a festive atmosphere to the celebration.
During the event, speakers proudly highlighted the successes achieved in the healthcare system thanks to the initiatives of Hero-Arkadag and the tireless efforts of Arkadagly Hero Serdar.
It was emphasized that such significant dates and the large-scale transformations taking place in our country inspire compatriots, including the younger generation, to creative work for the further prosperity of the Homeland. As noted, the wide adoption of healthy lifestyle principles promotes the development of physical fitness and wellness activities, as well as increasing interest in sports among people of all ages. It was particularly stressed that health has always been regarded as the greatest wealth in a person’s life, both in ancient times and today.
In the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, the hearts of Turkmen citizens are filled with gratitude toward the President of country, which is successfully continuing the socially-oriented policy initiated by Hero-Arkadag, with the protection of public health defined as one of its key priorities. It is gratifying that the current year – the International Year of Peace and Trust – is also marked by the 30th anniversary of the country’s permanent neutrality and the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the State Program “Saglyk”. Thirty years, by historical standards, is a short period, yet the reforms carried out in our country during this time clearly testify to the triumph of the national development strategy in sports and the strengthening of healthy lifestyle principles in society.
