This spring, archaeological excavations began at the historical-cultural site "Parz-Depe." The main goal was to study the stratigraphy of the cultural layers of the monument to determine the periods of habitation and gather information about the economic and cultural connections of the population with other regional sites. Excavations were conducted from the highest point of the monument to untouched substrate, covering a significant time span in the development of "Parz-Depe" culture.

From October 9 to 23, 2024, the 220th Session of the UNESCO Executive Board is being held in Paris, with the participation of representatives of Turkmenistan. Maksat Charyev, Permanent Delegate of Turkmenistan to UNESCO, and Chinar Rustamova, Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, represented the country at the traditional meeting of National Commissions for UNESCO of the member countries of the organization.

On the 14th of October, the International Academy of Horse Breeding named after Aba Annayev and the Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly of the city of Arkadag held a meeting with young people on the occasion of the recent presentation of the UNESCO certificate on the inclusion of the nomination «Ahal-Teke horse breeding art and horse decoration traditions» in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

The long-awaited premiere of the play "Saňa ýetermi owazym?" took place on the stage of the Nurmuhammet Andalib State Music and Drama Theater of the Dashoguz velayat. The production is based on the work of the national writer of Turkmenistan, Dovletgeldi Annamyradov.
