The track gangs of the “Turkmendemiryollary” Agency carry out the overall repair of the railway superstructure. The replacement of the badly tracked rails with new one was started near the station Bami-Bereket. Here, in the near future, first ten kilometers of the new steel track will be laid. Total about fifty kilometers of the railway line is planned to replace this year at the section of the railway line from Ashgabat to Turkmenbashi.
