The Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, which was established in 1951 on the base of Turkmen branch of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR as the highest scientific institution of the republic, which directs and coordinates scientific and research works in natural and public sciences, observes its 70^th anniversary in June.
