The Turkmen-Uzbek friendship evening turned into a joyful and hospitable celebration. Three exhibitions were on display, catering to a variety of tastes: a tearoom, a national food exhibition, and paintings presented by students of the Children's art school named after Bashim Nuraly and the State academy of arts.

Chef Rustam Ilyamov arrived from Uzbekistan specifically to prepare plov. In a giant cauldron, he cooked a ton (300 kilograms) of plov—the most popular and beloved dish in the East. He was assisted by two Turkmen plov masters, Azat Imamedov and Geldimyrat Atayev.

The concert venue was filled with vocal and dance enthusiasts. Among them were representatives from various embassies accredited in Turkmenistan, who eagerly participated in this friendly event.

Before the concert, the hakin of the capital, Rahym Gandymov, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan, Ravshanbek Alimov, addressed the audience with greetings. Their brief but meaningful addresses expressed confidence that the centuries-old Turkmen-Uzbek friendship will only grow stronger in the future. Because if we stand together, we will be stronger.

Honoured artist of Turkmenistan Ahmet Atajanov and Bahar Annayeva opened the concert program with the song «Ashgabat and Tashkent have become closer». The «Ashgabat» dance ensemble added a touch of dance to their performance.

The concert program included a song in Uzbek. Honoured artist of Turkmenistan Nuraddin Sattarov performed the song «May the Turkmen-Uzbek friendship live forever».

The evening at «Tashkent» park became an unforgettable event for Ashgabat residents and visitors. It was initiated by the hakimlik of Ashgabat, the MFA of Turkmenistan, and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Turkmenistan.
