Turkmenistan’s delegation, led by senior representatives of the Government and the national oil and gas sector, took part in the ADIPEC 2025 Exhibition and Conference — the world’s most influential annual meeting of the global energy community.

This year’s ADIPEC, held under the theme “Energy. Intelligence. Impact.”, brought together over 2,200 companies and more than 180,000 participants from 180 countries, including 54 national and international oil companies, 30 energy ministries, and leading international organisations. The exhibition reaffirmed its role as a global platform where governments, industry, and innovators converge to accelerate sustainable energy progress.

National Pavilion of Turkmenistan — A Platform for Dialogue and Cooperation

The National Pavilion of Turkmenistan, organised by the Turkmen Energy Forum (TEF) in collaboration with the State Concerns Turkmengas, Turkmennebit, and State Corporation Turkmengeology, attracted broad attention from international investors, business leaders, and media representatives.

Combining modern interactive technologies with elements of national design, the pavilion featured 3D models of the Galkynysh gas field, presentations on Caspian Sea offshore exploration, and multimedia displays highlighting gas-to-chemicals, LNG, digitalisation, and decarbonisation projects. Over the course of four days, more than 20,000 visitors explored the Turkmenistan stand, expressing strong interest in participating in upcoming investment and partnership opportunities.

High-Level Meetings and Expanding Partnerships

During ADIPEC 2025, the Turkmen delegation held a series of high-level meetings with senior executives of ADNOC, PETRONAS, Dragon Oil, and S&P Global, discussing joint initiatives in field development, methane-emission reduction, and digital process optimisation. The sides reviewed prospects for long-term cooperation in gas-chemical projects, offshore exploration, and the integration of advanced monitoring and data technologies.

Speaking at these meetings, the heads of Turkmenistan’s energy concerns emphasised the nation’s Open-Door Investment Policy and its commitment to developing projects that unite innovation, environmental responsibility, and economic efficiency. Particular attention was given to the continued implementation of the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India (TAPI) gas-pipeline project and the next phase of the Galkynysh field expansion — both key pillars of Turkmenistan’s regional energy strategy.

From Ashgabat to Abu Dhabi — Building on Momentum

Participation in ADIPEC 2025 came just weeks after the successful 30th Anniversary “Oil & Gas of Turkmenistan – OGT 2025” Forum in Ashgabat, which united more than 1,400 delegates from 70 countries. Continuing this momentum, Turkmenistan’s presence in Abu Dhabi reinforced the country’s growing role as a bridge between Eurasia’s vast energy resources and the innovation hubs of the Gulf region.

In his remarks, the Chairman of SC Turkmennebit underlined Turkmenistan’s readiness to expand cooperation with global partners through joint investments, technology transfer, and efficiency enhancement across the upstream and downstream sectors.

Commitment to Sustainable Growth

Throughout ADIPEC 2025, the Turkmen Pavilion served as a vibrant platform for international dialogue and partnership, underscoring Turkmenistan’s reputation as a reliable and forward-looking energy partner. The country’s participation demonstrated its continued dedication to global energy security, clean-energy transition, and sustainable development.

By presenting its strategic projects and engaging with the world’s leading energy companies, Turkmenistan reaffirmed its role as a dynamic participant in the global energy economy — advancing cooperation that links the resources of Central Asia with the opportunities of the Gulf and beyond.
