Events marking the Day of Workers of the Oil and Gas Industry and Geology of Turkmenistan were held in the country at a high level. Celebrations on this occasion also took place in Balkan velayat. Among them was an event organized at the Oil Workers’ Cultural Center in the city of Balkanabat, which operates under the State Concern “Türkmennebit”.
The event was attended by specialists, engineers, and technicians working in the country’s oil and gas sector, as well as heads of industrial structures, representatives of the older generation, and public organizations. The address by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the workers of the oil and gas industry and geology heightened the sense of pride among the participants in the celebration.
Speakers during the event emphasized the significance of large-scale initiatives of national and nationwide importance initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and now being successfully continued under the leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar. Words of sincere gratitude were expressed to the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for their tireless care for the people, the fundamental modernization and diversification of the fuel and energy complex, and the strengthening of its positions on the global market.
On behalf of the President of the country, valuable gifts were solemnly presented to leading workers of the oil and gas industry and geology.
The event was accompanied by songs and music performed by masters of culture and the arts, which further enhanced the festive atmosphere. The compositions were dedicated to our beautiful Motherland, rich in natural resources, to the courageous Turkmen people, to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, under whose wise leadership our country is confidently moving toward new heights of progress in the era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, as well as to the International Year of Peace and Trust, friendship, and brotherhood. Inspiring performances by dance and folklore groups also underscored the significance of the current celebration.
