President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting during which a wide range of issues was discussed, including the development of the agro-industrial complex and the provision of comfortable living conditions for the population in the country’s regions.
One of the key instructions of the head of state was to ensure the timeliness of financial operations in the agricultural sector. The President instructed that strict control be established over mutual settlements between agricultural producers and service enterprises. This concerns payments for the 2024–2025 cotton harvest and settlements for the 2025–2026 wheat harvest. At the same time, a task was set to complete the harvesting of sugar beet in Mary velayat in strict compliance with agrotechnical timeframes.
Special attention at the meeting was paid to issues of citizens’ social well-being during the winter period. The head of state ordered to keep under constant control the proper operation of heating systems in residential buildings, schools, and kindergartens, as well as the uninterrupted supply of electricity, natural gas, and drinking water to the population.
The President of Turkmenistan also emphasized the importance of the sustainable expansion of regional infrastructure. Relevant officials were instructed to maintain strict control over the pace of construction of social, cultural, and industrial facilities scheduled to be commissioned during the current year.
