President of Turkmenistan held a working meeting with the heads of several ministries and departments

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a meeting with the leaders of the spheres of transport and communications, construction, energy and industrial complexes, financial and economic sector. The agenda was to include a number of organizational and personnel issues are discuss and addressed urgent issues raised by the head of state to these critical areas economy and their future development.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, a number of vice-chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, the heads of several ministries and departments, as well as khyakim Ashgabat.

While openning the meeting President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said that the country's Prosecutor General's Office did proceed with an audit in a number of ministries and departments. The results revealed serious shortcomings of heads of individual agencies.

The Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan reported that following an audit carried out in the Main State Service of Turkmenistan "Turkmenstandartlary" revealed numerous violations of existing laws on issuing permits for use on the territory of Turkmenistan heavy vehicles which exceeds the capacity to operate the country's highways standards for maximum allowable weight of transported goods.

In connection with above stated the President of Turkmenistan dismissed the President of the Main State Service of Turkmenistan "Turkmenstandartlary", as well as his deputy for the serious shortcomings in the work.

A.Tachmammedov was dismissed as Deputy President of the Supreme Chamber of Inspection and now is appointed as the new head of the Main State Service of Turkmenistan "Turkmenstandartlary"

Then the President gave the floor to report to the members of the meeting

The first floor was given to the Minister of Internal Affairs. He reported on the work carried out by the Interior Ministry and its agencies including traffic safety and order on the roads. There was also a report on the audit of the Ministry of Road Transport of the country undertaken on behalf of the President.

For the serious shortcomings in the work the President dismissed the head of the Ministry of Road Transport from the post of minister of the country.

The duties of the head of the ministry entrusted to M.Gurbandurdyeva who is released from the post of Deputy Minister of Road Transport of Turkmenistan.

The President has appointed M.Aydogdyev as the Deputy Minister of Motor Transport of Turkmenistan.

Then the floor was given to the Minister of Railway Transport who reported on the status of the entrusted sector.

Head of State addressed the leaders of the industry a number of criticisms particularly regarding the quality of the construction of new steel lines which in some areas do not meet the requirements.

The leader of a nation said that it is required to handle with the preparation of highly qualified personnel now as they will be needed in connection with the commissioning of the railway North-South.

The meeting continued with the report of the Chairman of the State Service of Maritime and River Transport of Turkmenistan on the ongoing work of the service to increase the volume of passenger and cargo economic as well as the modernization of the Turkmenbashi seaport.

President instructed to hold a particular job and provide the organization of marine transportation of passengers and economic goods, the establishment of tourism activities and services for the purchasing of the court of an international class.

On the state of affairs in the airline industry reported the chairman of the State National Service "Turkmenhovayollary".

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov drew the attention of management services on the delay in solving the existing problems in the work of "Turkmenhowayollary". In this regard the Turkmen leader demanded that the head of the State National Service "Turkmenhovayollary" as soon as possible to correct these deficiencies warning him that if he did not remedy the situation he will be dismissed.

Further the Prosecutor General informed the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the audit of the Ministry of Communication of the country.

Then the floor was given to the Minister of Communications of Turkmenistan. He reported to the President on the ongoing work of the ministry to implement projects aimed at increasing the capacity of the telecommunications sector, increasing the level and quality of the service provider.

Based on the report of the Prosecutor General for the serious shortcomings in the work the President dismissed the deputy minister A.Muhammedov.

In order to establish at an appropriate level of the communication system of the country the President instructed to intensify the modernization of technical base of the industry by introducing innovative technologies and the use of the most effective and reliable modern equipment.

Then the chairman of the National Hydrometeorology Committee issued a report on the Committee's work.

Commenting on the report the President said that in the 13th stage of building to be erected in Ashgabat and the new building for the headquarters of the National Hydrometeorology comet. Therefore should hold an international tender. The Turkmen leader also announced government plans provided for the purchase of new equipment for hydrometeorology which will contribute to radical improvement of the service.

Then the floor was given to the report the Chairman of the SC "Turkmenavtoyollary" who reported to the President on the ongoing work carried out by Concern for the reconstruction of existing and construction of new highways, roads and bridges, road construction in the introduction of innovative technologies.

Commenting on the report and pointed to a number of shortcomings and unsolved problems in the activity of SC "Turkmenavtoyollary" the President put before the newly appointed head of the concern with the task of speedy implementation of the adopted program of road infrastructure of the country.

Then the Minister of Public Utilities of Turkmenistan reported to the President on the ongoing work of the ministry particularly in Ashgabat and the performance of his that office tasks.

Focusing on improvement of the capital and other towns and settlements of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need for strict adherence to universal sanitation.

Then turning to the Minister of Internal Affairs the President stressed the need to study the relevant issues relating to staff training and team composition for the Service Road police surveillance and noted that these issues should be solved together with the rector of the Institute of Internal Affairs.

Speaking at the meeting Minister of Construction reported on the ongoing progress of the country's housing program as well as ongoing work in building capacity of domestic construction industry.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed the leaders of the industry to develop a concrete action plan to ensure a successful solution facing the ministry of construction tasks as well as create a special company and construction company who will be able to work outside of our country.

For unsatisfactory performance of duties assigned the head of state severely reprimanded the minister of construction, requiring as soon as possible to eliminate the deficiencies.

Further to a report on work in progress was made head of the Turkmenistan Ministry of Energy.

Speaking about the enormous potential power Turkmen leader emphasized that the presence of energy Turkmenistan is one of the richest states and the production of electricity as is well known worldwide as one of the most profitable industries

A report on the work undertaken by the Ministry of Industry of Turkmenistan was made by the head of the newly established Ministry.

Commenting on the report the President noted that he expects for the conclusion that the domestic industry to a new level of industry development, capacity building of private enterprises, an increase in the number of high-paying jobs which should work well educated, qualified professionals. To do this it is advisable to create joint venture said the head of state instructed to take the necessary steps to prepare highly skilled professionals who can cope with a large amount of the work on further modernization of the industrial sector.

Then the meeting continued with a report of hyakim of the Ashgabat city who reported on the capital deployed in the construction works the measures taken to further improve transport and communication infrastructure and other life-support systems of the city, its comprehensive improvement and development.

Expressing complaints about the poor organization of the administration of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on the practical steps to implement the 12th stage of the complex urban buildings, and also instructed to prepare khyakim advance a specific plan for the construction of the 13th stage development of Ashgabat and submit it for consideration

In addition the Turkmen leader instructed to review and prepare recommendations based on the feasibility of restoration renovation or demolition of old buildings of the capital.

Separately the President pointed the Health Trail. Expressing dissatisfaction with the fact that this object is not supported in a proper condition the President demanded to rectify the situation. Perhaps in order to keep the Trail clean and tidy said the leader of the nation khyakimlik should give it to private entrepreneurs.

The President also commented on the conditions of imperfect organization of road safety in particular the ill-conceived and inadequate placement on the roadway of large and lively pedestrian streets.

Then Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on the leaders of the spheres of transport and communications, construction, power and industrial systems as well as economic and financial sector to work on the reconstruction of existing and construction of new highways which make the highest demands. In this regard the Turkmen leader appealed to the President of parliament and several vice-premiers to prepare their proposals in this regard as well as draft legislation or the relevant document.

Authorizing the Chairman of the Supreme Chamber of Control to monitor compliance with these industry leaders jobs the President asked to report on progress to the Cabinet meeting for the first nine months.

Concluding the meeting which was also addressed several other important issues and signed a number of relevant documents the Turkmen leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished all participants good health, prosperity, success in work for the future prosperity of our country.
