Turkmenistan Develops National Roadmap for Cooperation with the UN for 2026–2030

The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, during which current issues of state affairs were considered.

During the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs, R, Meredov presented a draft “Medium-Term National Roadmap of Turkmenistan for the Implementation of Documents Adopted Following the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries for 2026–2030.”

The development of this document is aimed at ensuring the consistent implementation of the forum’s decisions at the national level and further strengthening Turkmenistan’s role as the country that hosted the international conference. The draft Roadmap encompasses six main areas of activity.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the systematic and strategic nature of Turkmenistan’s cooperation with the United Nations. The Head of State approved the proposals presented and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, to continue efforts to further deepen the partnership with the UN.
