On 28 August 2026, on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the UAE Bayram Bayramov met with Mohammed Ahmed Al Harbi, Director General of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society. About this reports MFA of Turkmenistan. 

The sides discussed the further development of cooperation in the equestrian field. The Emirati side commended the Society's delegation visit to Turkmenistan on 5-7 August 2026 and the substantive nature of the meetings held. The guests were particularly impressed by the performance of the Galkynysh equestrian group, as well as by the facilities of the Aba Annaev International Academy of Horse Breeding and the Scientific and Production Centre of Horse Breeding in Arkadag city.

The Ambassador informed his counterpart about the Akhal-Teke Horse Championship, held for the first time on 4-6 September 2026 at the Peelbergen Equestrian Centre in Kronenberg, the Netherlands. The championship is addressed to an international audience and aims to promote the Akhal-Teke breed worldwide.

The meeting reaffirms the continuity of the Embassy's engagement with the Emirates Arabian Horse Society and the commitment of both sides to further expanding cooperation in the equestrian field.
