Faculty members from the University of engineering and technology named after Oguz han – O. Soltanova, head of the department of biotechnology, and D. Porrykov, head of the department of molecular biology and genetics – visited Minsk, Belarus, on the 5th to 6th of September, where they participated in the «Science Festival – 2026», organised by the National academy of sciences of Belarus.
This large-scale forum, held for the eighth time, is recognised as one of the most popular scientific events in the Republic of Belarus. For many years, it has introduced residents and visitors to Minsk to cutting-edge achievements and helped popularise knowledge from the world of science and technology.
During the festival, all research institutes and centers of the Academy of sciences of Belarus demonstrated their innovative developments. Representatives of the University of engineering and technology named after Oguz han also presented a number of projects developed at the university in the field of biotechnology. The scientific solutions they proposed generated great interest among participants and guests. During the event, Turkmen delegates exchanged views with leading professors and scientists from various Belarusian research institutes on issues of genetics, plant breeding, microbiology, and food and agricultural biotechnology.
