During a Cabinet of Ministers meeting on the digital system, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov discussed preparations for a series of international scientific and practical forums scheduled for October 2026.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Mammedov presented a report on the progress of organisational work. According to the information provided, international scientific and practical conferences will be held digitally at the leading higher education institutions of the country.

The Turkmen State institute of architecture and construction will host a conference entitled «The Role of innovative technologies in the construction and industrial complex».

The Engineering and technology university of Turkmenistan named after Oguz han will host a forum titled «National artificial intelligence technologies: Digital Economy, smart diversification, and sustainable development».

Participants will focus on studying best practices in implementing the concept of «smart», «safe», and «green» cities, introducing innovative building materials, as well as issues of industrial automation and the use of robotics.

Turkmen scientists, teachers, and students, as well as representatives of major foreign universities and international organisations, are expected to participate in the forums.

The head of state approved the submitted proposals and instructed the deputy-prime to ensure high-quality and comprehensive preparation for the planned scientific and educational events.
