At the office of the economic society «Hormat Yoly», a master class was held on making the paintings of children from fabrics and yarn, organised as part of the periodic program «Handicrafts with famous craftswomen».

Under the guidance of master Gulbahar Karaganova, the boys and girls became engrossed in the process. The children selected colours, cut out patterns from textiles, and created fluffy animals, fairytale landscapes, and bright patterns from yarn.

According to the mentor, the idea that handicrafts are only suitable for girls is gradually becoming a thing of the past. The teacher emphasised that this creative process is excellent for developing imagination, thinking, and fine motor skills, making it an extremely useful activity outside of school hours.

– Our company actively participates in the social life of the country, provides venues for educational events, and supports environmental initiatives, – noted Gulayym Kolakova, director of the ES «Hormat Yoly».

The training was conducted completely free of charge as a social and internal project of the organisation. The main goal of the meeting was to distract children from smartphones and televisions, as well as to give them the opportunity to spend interesting time with their peers and parents. The children enjoyed getting to know each other, contributed to the development of the volunteer movement, and at the end of the program, took part in an environmental quiz and received memorable prizes.
