Thanking for the Turkmen land a warm welcome guest gave cordial greetings to the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov from the King and Prime Minister of Malaysia who addressed to the leader of the nation and the people of Turkmenistan sincere wishes of happiness, peace and stability. On this occasion, Mr. Aman Anif congratulated the head of state with the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan and wished to the President of Turkmenistan good health and success in his multifaceted activities aimed at further progress and prosperity of the country.
- The Government of Malaysia and the people really value the relationship with neutral Turkmenistan which had won a high reputation throughout the world, - said Mr. Aman Anif, expressing the hope that further strengthen established in recent years of fruitful cooperation will directly contribute to the activities of the newly appointed Ambassador of Malaysia, just embarked a few days ago to work in Turkmenistan. In this context, the guest noted the importance of opening the Embassy of Malaysia in Ashgabat.

During the meeting the President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia exchanged their views on promoting bilateral agreements previously reached and the prospects of further cooperation with an impressive view of the existing economic and resource potential and the positive experience of cooperation, supported by the successful implementation of a number of important joint projects. In this case, Mr. Aman Anif said that a new impetus of relations between the two friendly countries gave the state visit of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in Malaysia, held in December last year.
Expressing the mutual interest of both parties in the steady build a multi-faceted cooperation, successfully developed a number of key areas, primarily in the strategic energy sector, the President and his guest emphasized that the example of effective use of available capacity may serve as a long-term partnership with Turkmenistan, the largest Malaysian company "Petronas" which carries out exploration and production of hydrocarbons in the Turkmen Caspian shelf and assisting in the preparation of highly qualified personnel for the oil and gas industry of our country.
Expressing deep appreciation for the active support and assistance to companies operating in the country, the guest expressed his deep interest and full readiness to Malaysian business community to continue to take an active part in future projects of national and international importance. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia also announced its intention to the Malaysian side to actively develop business contacts through the business, noting that due to policies pursued by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to support the private sector of national economy, the Turkmen entrepreneurs are significantly strengthened its position in the domestic market.
Highly appreciating the dynamics of trade and economic relations the President and Foreign Minister of Malaysia also emphasized the importance of further intensification of relations in the cultural sphere has traditionally been an important part of the intergovernmental dialogue. Noting that in recent years in Malaysian institutions of higher education in various specialties are trained Turkmen boys and girls, the President and his guest called for further strengthening of cooperation in scientific and educational spheres.
