From October 7 to 9, the Avaza National Tourist Zone will become the main venue for international meetings and forums. It will host the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS, the Consultative Meeting of the Leaders of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, the Caspian Environmental Summit, as well as dozens of thematic conferences, cultural events, and exhibitions.

Turkmenistan’s chairmanship of the CIS in 2026 underscores its strategic mission – to bring countries together for the sake of sustainable development and international cooperation.

During these days, Avaza will become a symbol of openness and cultural exchange. Exhibitions, concerts, and national cuisine festivals to be held along the Caspian coast will highlight the rich heritage of the CIS countries and neighboring states. This will create an atmosphere of trust and friendship, where diplomacy is complemented by the culture and traditions of different peoples.

Particular attention will be paid to the environmental agenda and the rational use of the region’s natural resources. The Caspian Environmental Summit and meetings on water resources will be an important step toward joint solutions aimed at preserving the environment and ensuring a sustainable future.
