The two-day working visit of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the Republic of Turkey will start tomorrow. The programme of the Turkmen leader’s working visit to the Republic of Turkey is rich in top level talks and meetings and includes a visit of the Turkmen Governmental delegation to Istanbul and Izmir, the two large commercial, industrial, tourist and cultural centres of the country.
This is the second visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Turkey taken this year on the invitation of his Turkish colleague – President Abdullah Gül. The efficiency of the intergovernmental dialogue, which has received a powerful dynamics for development due to the leaders of the two countries, has been predetermined by the high level of the mutual understanding and confidence between the two fraternal, spiritually close peoples bounded with the common ties of history and cultural traditions.
It is expected that a wide spectrum of issues regarding the bilateral and regional cooperation will be discussed and the new priorities for the long-term partnership built on the principles of confidence, equality and mutual interests will be defined within the framework of the top level talks.
