President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular meeting with the heads of military and law enforcement agencies of Turkmenistan at the Ashgabat International airport upon his arrival from Turkmenbashi.
The Secretary of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan, National Security Minister Ya.Berdiev reported firstly on the successes of the Military Doctrine as well as concrete steps taken to ensure the social and public stability.
The Minister also reported on the progress in drafting Decrees “On the Pardon to Convicted Persons in Honour of the sacred Night of Omnipotence - Gadyr Gijesi”, including foreign citizens committed crimes on the territory of Turkmenistan.
Commenting on the report the Turkmen leader underlined that following the traditions of mercy, justice and humanity entrusted by our ancestors, striving for uniting each family and preserving its integrity, the Turkmen state regularly held charitable acts pardoning citizens of Turkmenistan and foreign countries who have admitted their guilt and repented of their deeds. The Turkmen leader noted that following this humane tradition, many convicted persons would be dismissed on the eve of Gadyr Gijesi – the Night of Omnipotence. They will be provided with an opportunity to return to normal life and redeem their fault with honest labour. Expressing belief in that these people would become worthy citizens of their country, the Turkmen leader signed the relevant Decree on the pardon to 1,327 convicted persons, including 44 foreign citizens, who have commited crimes on the territory of Turkmenistan, in Honour of the sacred Night of Omnipotence - Gadyr Gijesi.
Then the floor was given to the head of the State Border Service A. Garayev, who reported on the existing situation at the State border. Then the head of the State Service on Security of Healthy Society of Turkmenistan A. Osmanov informed the Turkmen leader on the steps taken to prevent distribution and use of drugs.
Underlining that there is no place for drug abuse in our independent country, the Turkmen leader noted that our country carried out an important work to enhance the principles of the healthy lifestyle. In this regard the Turkmen leader underlined the necessity of criticizing the people who made a profit in such a dirty way in mass media.
Then the floor was given to the Minister of Defense B.Gundogdyev who reported on fulfillment of the Turkmen leader’s instructions in the context of implementation of the large-scale military doctrine. The Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan Ya.Yazmyradov, the Minister for Internal Affairs I.Mulikov, Chief Justice of Turkmenistan A. Hallyev, the Minister of Justice M.Garryev reported on the work done within the last time.
The Chairman of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan A.Hodzhamgulyev and Chairman of the State Migration Service D.Bayramov informed the Turkmen leader on the work done to introduce the advanced world experience and international practice in this sphere.
