During the working visit to Balkan Velayat, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the projects of new facilities to be built on the Caspian Coast within the framework of developing the Avaza National Tourist Zone.
At the beginning of the presentation held in the Serdar Hotel, the Turkmen leader got acquainted with the draft of the project on creation of a cultural and entertainment center that includes aqua park and oceanarium in Avaza. Then the Turkmen leader became familiar with the drafts of projects of new cinemas. The projects on creation of green belts drafted by the khyakimliks of velayats and Ashgabat as well as sectoral ministries and departments were presented to the Turkmen leader for consideration. Approving the projects in general, the Turkmen leader gave a number of specific instructions regarding widening the borders of future forest belts.
Those speaking noted that among the objects under construction in Avaza, along with creation of green belts, recreation areas as well as cultural and entertainment cenres, new health and resort centre for the workers of the agro-industrial complex of the country, luxurious hotels had been built in Avaza at the request of the Sea Service of Maritime and River Transport of Turkmenistan, the State Committee for Tourism and Sports. Moreover, a multifunctional sanatorium is built on the Caspian Coast at the request of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, high-rise hotels and cottages are erected by the Union of Industrialists and Manufacturers of Turkmenistan.
Among the projects under construction, a twelve-cottage area of the Ashgabat Khyakimlik, a resort area with ten two-storey cottages for the specialists of the financial and economic sphere of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, cottages of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, the State Committee for TV Broadcasting and Cinematography, the Turkmennebitgazgurlushik were presented during the meeting.
In the near future it is planned to start construction of a special route for holding high-speed motor racing and oceanarium, an Exposition centre, trading and business centres.
As is known, each velayat of the country will have its own modern health-improving centre designed for 300 places in Avaza. The Velayat Khyakims reported on the progress in implementing the projects on construction of these facilities. Commenting on the reports the Turkmen leader underlined the necessity of accelerating the paces of construction works emphasizing that all necessary conditions should be created there for recreation round the year.
