According to the Decree of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Sharifovich Rahmon was awarded with order of Turkmenistan “Bitaraplyk”.

As it is told in the document, this high honor was given to the President of Republic of Tajikistan for ponderable contribution to the development of bilateral economic, cultural and scientific cooperation between Turkmenistan and Republic of Tajikistan, confirmation of the status of permanent neutrality of independent Turkmenistan as well as taking into account great personal services in strengthening of friendly and brotherly relations between Turkmen and Tajik people.
