The solemn ceremony of opening of the second turn of the Abadan cotton spinning mill took place in Abadan with participation of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, who had arrived in Turkmenistan for an official visit.
New production – the second turn of the Abadan cotton spinning mill is designed for production of combing yarn of the ring spinning of fine-fibre cotton varieties. Moreover, reeled-and-thrown yarn will be produced there. The annual capacity of the new enterprise is 4,872 tons of combing yarn and 275 tons of reeled-and-thrown yarn. In general, the annual volume of products produced there will be amounted to US$ 22.7 million. More than a half of goods produced at the Abadan cotton spinning mill will be exported, the rest of the products will be supplied to the local market of Turkmenistan.
The newly constructed building located on the vast territory of the Abadan factory adjoins to the first operating workshop and, along with the main office building of the enterprise, creates a completed architectural composition. The territory is improved, planted with trees and decorated with cascade fountains stretching along the facade line of the factory that create the pleasant freshness in summer.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon got acquainted with the exposition of the products of the textile industry of the country. The fashion collections created by Turkmen designers were presented to those present.
Wonderful hand-made carpets were presented to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in token of profound respect to the leaders of the two countries.
From Abadan the cortege of the leaders of the two countries headed to the International Equestrian Complex located in Ruhabat Etrap. The horse riders of the Galkynysh group presented a performance in the circus arena of the complex. The Presidents of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan watched the show jumping performance and the exercising of horses at the equestrian sports complex.
Then the leaders of the two countries left the International Equestrian Complex.
A reception was given in honour of the distinguished guest.
