President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has left for the Islamic Republic of Iran leading the Government delegation of Turkmenistan to take part in the 16th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement that will bring together the Heads of states and Governments of the countries, members of the Movement in Tehran.

It is expected that the Summit will focus on the measures taken to ensure the efficient joint confrontation to the threats and challenges of the modern time as well as the further steps to strengthen and fill in the cooperation successfully developing in a number of key spheres including political, economic, cultural, and humanitarian sectors, with a new content.
