President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular video conference with Vice Premiers, Khyakims of velayats and Ashagabt, the heads of a number of ministries and departments. The meeting agenda focused on the priority issues of the state policy life, the progress of the seasonal agricultural campaigns and construction works.
The Velayat Khyakims, Chairman of the Turkmenobahyzmat Association Ch. Charliev and Chairman of the Turkmenpagta State Concern H. Annamyradov reported on the work done in the regions within the framework of the large-scale programmes taken place in the country as well as the progress in implementing the cotton picking campaign and winter wheat sowing campaign. The Turkmen leader was also informed on the progress in constructing various facilities and the results of the planting campaign held in all regions of the country.
Commenting on the reports the Turkmen leader severely reprimanded the relevant officials for improper organization of the ‘white gold’ harvesting campaign. Expressing dissatisfaction with the low paces of the winter wheat sowing campaign in a number of etraps, the President of Turkmenistan demanded the relevant officials to keep this issue under the rigorous control.
Vice Premiers reported on the existing situation in the sectors under their supervision. In particular, it was reported on the programme of the International scientific and practical conference on the food security and preparations for the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Council for the CIS agroindustrial complex, on the existing situation in the institutions affiliated to the transport and communication sector, the progress in implementing the programmes on improving the work of the institutions of the financial, economic and banking system of Turkmenistan.
Ashgabat Khyakim Sh. Durdylyyev reported on the work done on implementation of the architectural and urban planning programme in the Turkmen capital. The Ashgabat Khyakim presented the draft projects of the motor terminal to be built along the Ashgabat ring road to the north of the Turkmen capital to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for consideration.
During the video conference Minister of Communication of Turkmenistan B. Ovezov reported on the work done in the sphere under his supervision and the measures taken to improve the work of the industry and modernize its infrastructure. In particular, the Turkmen leader was informed on the measures taken to improve the quality of services provided by the Altyn Asyr cellular communications enterprise of the Turkmentelecom State Company as well as on widening the range of coverage of the national mobile operator.
Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan G. Mammedova reported on the outcomes of the Avaza-2012 International Exhibition, the festival of art and scientific conference held in the Avaza National tourist zone on September 5-7.
Chairman of the National Space Agency under the President of Turkmenistan A. Atayev reported on the work done on formation of the coordination working group for developing the project of the national satellite system of Turkmenistan, construction of an artificial satellite and placing it into the orbit.
Chairman of the Turkmengas State Concern S. Mamedov reported on the work done on diversifying the routes and increasing the volumes of export of natural gas. The head of the concern also reported on the measures taken with the aim to increase the ‘blue fuel’ production and promote a number of large investment projects, including the project on drilling-out and developing the Galkinysh field – the largest deposit in the country.

Alovov on the existing situation I the sector under his supervision, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed dissatisfaction with organization of work of TV channels. Among the main reasons the Turkmen leader emphasized on the wrong color resolution of a number of TV programmes and discrepancy in the work status among some specialists.
