President of Turkmenistan chaired a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan chaired a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan to consider a number of important issues of the state policy life as well as the drafts of a number of important documents.
Vice Premiers reported on the preparations for the International Consumer Goods Fair of the CIS to be held in Ashgabat on September 20 – October 10, on the outcomes of the visit of the Turkmen parliamentarians to the Republic of Turkey, on the outcomes of the official visit of the Government delegation led by the President of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Latvia.
It was also reported on the plan of events on the preparations for the celebrations of the 21st anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan, on the fourth sitting of the Turkmen-Belarusian Intergovernmental commission in Minsk on September 19-22, on the cotton harvesting and wheat sowing campaigns, on the progress in construction of the gas-compressor station in the Malay deposit. The Turkmen leader was informed on the progress in construction of the Garluyk settlement in Lebap Velayat, on the preparations for opening of the Atamyrat-Kerkichi road bridge across the Amu Darya River and the cement production plant in the Garlyk settlement. It was also reported on the tender results on selection of a consulting company to monitor construction of new international airports in Ashgabat, Turkmenabat, Dashoguz and auxiliary facilities. Airport Consulting Partners/ILF Consulting Engineers Company (Germany) won the bid. The Vice Premiers also reported on the outcomes of the Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan CIS International conference held in Ashgabat on September 13.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed the relevant officials to open an exposition dedicated to the cultural relations of the Turkmens with the people of various countries of the world in last centuries.
President of Turkmenistan instructed the relevant officials to study the issue on opening of another institution of higher education in Ashgabat. The educational process in the institute will be provided in the English language. The Turkmen leader noted that highly-qualified specialists of various professions would be trained in the institute in compliance with the high word educational standards.
The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolutions “On approving the membership of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Belarusian Commission for economic cooperation from the Turkmen side and on participation in the next sitting of the commission” and “On construction of new enterprises of the medical industry of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan”.
The President of Turkmenistan severely reprimanded Chairman of the Food Industry Association V. Veliev for the fire at the Ahal vegetable oil production enterprise in Ruhabat Etrap. The Turkmen leader demanded the heads of all enterprises and organizations to inspect the observance of fire safety.
The President of Turkmenistan underlined the significance of encouraging entrepreneurship by issuing preferential crediting to the private sector of the national economy, long-term credits on mortgage and providing modern bank services.
The other state policy issues were considered during the government meeting, and the decisions were adopted.
