On the instruction of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Chairwoman of the Parliament of Turkmenistan Nurberdiyeva received credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic of South Africa in Turkmenistan Shirish Manaklal Soni.

In the course of the talk, the diplomat was informed in detail about major trends and priorities of home and foreign policy of independent neutral Turkmenistan, socio-economic reformations, being realized in the country. Particular emphasis was made on reforms in the sphere of science and education. The Chairwoman of the Parliament also familiarized the Ambassador of Republic of South Africa with structural and legislative activity of the national parliament.

Having noted that modern dynamically developing Turkmenistan is able to attract his compatriots as unique country with original history, centuries-old traditions, multifaceted culture and vast economic potential, Shirish Manaklal Soni offered to start the development of active interstate interaction with organization of mutual introductory trips and business-forums, where concerned departments and companies could take part in.
