President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conducts a video conference with the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Vice Premiers, Velayat Khyakims and heads of ministries and departments.
The meeting agenda focused on the urgent issues of the state policy life, socio-economic development of the country, the progress in implementing the core programmes and priority national projects as well as important season agricultural activities.
Commenting on the reports of Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan A.Nurberdieva and Chief Executive Officer of the Elders’ Council of Turkmenistan G. Myradov on the preparations for a regular meeting of the Elders’ Council of Turkmenistan in Turkmenbashi, Balkan Velayat, the Turkmen leader signed a Decree “On calling for the Elders’ Council of Turkmenistan” and a Resolution “On orderly conduct of the Elders’ Council of Turkmenistan”.
Vice Premier, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R. Meredov reported on the preparations for participation of the delegation of Turkmenistan in the 67th session of the UN General Assembly.
The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution authorizing the delegation of Turkmenistan to take part in the 67th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, the US.
The head of the Turkmenhowayollary State National Service M. Ayazov reported on the existing situation in the structure under his supervision. In particular it was reported on the work done to select a foreign company to provide consulting services on construction of new international air terminals in Ashgabat and Turkmenabat and new runway and relevant facilities in the Dashoguz airport.
Commenting on the report, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution authorizing concluding agreement on consulting services with a German company.
Chairperson of the Turkmen State Publishing Service G. Nurgeldieva reported on organization of the VII International Book Fair “Book is a way towards cooperation and progress” as well as on drafting the projects on construction of a centralized printing complex of the Turkmen State Publishing Service.

Chairman of the Turkmennebit State Concern A. Deryaev reported on the progress in implementing the target projects within the framework of the Programme on development of the oil and gas industry for 2012-2016.
Commenting on the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed the heads of the industry to enhance the work on further modernization of the oil-producing enterprises of the concern. During the meeting the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution on the appointment of R. Ilamanov Vice Chairman of the Turkmennebit State Concern.
Acting Minister of the Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan K. Abdyllaev reported on the existing situation in the sectors under his supervision. Commenting on the report, the Turkmen expressed dissatisfaction with the low paces of implementation of the plans scheduled in the priority sphere.
The President severely reprimanded Acting Minister of the Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan K. Abdyllaev for the unsatisfactory performance of official duties and demanded to take all necessary measures to eliminate the shortcomings.
The heads of a number of ministries and departments reported on the existing situation in the sectors under their supervision, Vice Premiers informed the Turkmen leader on the progress of work in the spheres of transport and communications, construction industry, power complex, chemical and fish industries of the county.

Moreover, the Vice Premier also reported on the preparations for the International scientific and practical conference on increasing the food security in the CIS, and a meeting of the Intergovernmental Council on the CIS Agro-industrial complex stipulated by the Plan of events within the framework of the Concept of the presidency of Turkmenistan in the CIS.
