President of Turkmenistan receives First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Yaqub Eyyubov who arrived in the Turkmen capital leading a representative delegation of Azerbaijan to take part in the third meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Azerbaijani commission for economic cooperation.

Speaking about the wide prospects for diversification of efficient cooperation, the President of Turkmenistan and First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan underlined the significance of work of the joint Intergovernmental Turkmen-Azerbaijani commission and the third meeting of the commission in Ashgabat. In this regard, the Turkmen leader and his guest exchanged their views on the key vectors of the Turkmen-Azerbaijani cooperation in the trading and economic sphere given the existing opportunities for intensification of the mutually beneficial business relations in various areas. It was also underlined the importance of strengthening the traditional humanitarian and cultural contacts as an integral part of the intergovernmental relations.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan Vahdet Mamedaga ogly Sultan-zade attended the meeting.
