In the evening, in Avaza, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the solemn awarding ceremony of creative workers, who were honored with honorary titles of Turkmenistan, and winners of annual creative contest of the President of Turkmenistan “Turkmenin altyn asyry”.
Solemn ceremony in honor of creative workers took place on the coast of ancient Caspian Sea. Members of the government, officials and representatives of the Parliament, social organizations, ministries and departments, heads of higher educational establishments, mass media, workers of culture and art, numerous guests as well as prize-winners of the national review have gathered in the Amphitheatre.
Having greeted the participants, the head of state congratulated the creative workers on awarding of honorary titles and prestigious prizes of winners of the contest “Turkmenin altyn asyry” and on upcoming holiday – the 21st anniversary of Motherland’s independence.
It is read out the Decree on conferment of honorary titles and Resolution on awarding of winners of the nationwide contest “Turkmenin altyn asyry”. In the solemn atmosphere, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov hands the awards to the best creative workers, who were honored with honorary titles of Turkmenistan, and prizes to winners of the state contest.
Then, festive performance with participation of masters of art of Turkmenistan, young professional and amateur performers – winners of the national creative contests, best dance and children’s groups were held on the stage of the Amphitheatre.
Warmly saying goodbye to the participants of the solemnity, the head of state left the Amphitheatre. Motor car of the President of Turkmenistan made the way to the International Airport of Turkmenbashi city, wherefrom the nation leader left for Ashgabat.
