President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation.
The leaders of the two states exchanged their views on a number of urgent issues of the bilateral cooperation and the international policy representing particular interest for the both countries. Underlining with satisfaction the high dynamics of development of the intergovernmental relations, the parties reaffirmed the mutual aspiration for further enhancing cooperation in a wide spectrum of areas, including through the mutually beneficial and constructive participation in the CIS affairs given the presidency of Turkmenistan over the CIS, within the bilateral and multilateral formats.
Underlining the significant role of humanitarian cooperation in developing fruitful partnership, the leaders of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation called for further consolidation of the cultural exchange.
