Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Sergey Yewgenyewich Naryshkin at the head of representative delegation of participants of VII Forum of creative and scientific intelligentsia of CIS member countries, being held by Turkmenistan within the framework of the chairmanship in the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2012, was awarded with the order of Turkmenistan “Bitaraplyk”.

As it was written in the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, the Russian public figure was honored with this award for ponderable contribution to the development of political, economic, cultural, scientific and inter-Parliamentary relations between Turkmenistan and Russian Federation, recognition of the status of permanent neutrality of independent Turkmenistan as well as for great personal services in strengthening of friendly relations between Turkmen and Russian people.
