President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan to consider urgent issues of the state policy life, internal and foreign policy of the country as well as drafts of a number of documents.
Within the framework of the meeting the Vice Premiers and Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan informed the Turkmen leader on the existing situation in the spheres under their supervision as well as on the preparations for the Elders’ Council of Turkmenistan and the celebrations to mark the 21st anniversary of independence of the Fatherland.
In particular, the Vice Premiers reported on the progress in implementing the seasonal agricultural activities, including cotton picking and winter crops sowing campaigns as well as the national planting campaign. The issues related to the international cooperation in the fuel and energy sphere, further development of the transport and communication infrastructure, the sphere of science and education, as well as the draft of the State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2013 were considered during the meeting.
