In his address congratulating on the holiday being observed in the Muslim world, the Turkmen leader underlined the crucial role of this festivity in strengthening the moral principles of a society.

“Kurban bayramy is an ancient holiday asserting the universal spiritual values, high moral and ethical principles, humanity and moral purity,” the President said. “This international holiday is of particular significance as a festivity popularizing the customs and traditions of the peoples of the East. Kurban bayramy absorbing the spiritual and cultural values of the humanity contributes to uniting peoples making them closer to each other.

The cultural heritage is of particular importance in strengthening the peace and friendship among peoples, guaranteeing happy life for the whole humanity. In this context, giving the rich experience accumulated by our people within many centuries, we have continued developing unique spiritual traditions as an important condition for further improvement of a society. As is known, the high spiritual and moral values, as well as our people’s national traditions and customs form a foundation for the humanistic political course pursued in Turkmenistan. Our festivities and national values penetrated with the spirit of kindness and humanity serve as original bridges of friendship in making the cultures and arts closer, strengthening the creative relations among peoples”.

Heartily congratulating the Turkmen people on blessed Kurban bayramy, the Turkmen leader wished everyone good health, long happy life and family wellbeing.
