Within the framework of their visit to the Turkmen capital, a representative delegation led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Turkmenistan Mr. Ronald Keller was received at the Government of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country.
Discussing the prospects and priority vectors of bilateral partnership based on the principles of equality and mutual benefit, Mr. Ronald Keller noted that the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands pays significant attention to strengthening the mutually beneficial cooperation with Turkmenistan possessing huge resource potential and successfully implementing the open-door policy and supporting wide international cooperation.
In this regard, the diplomat reaffirmed the interest of leading Dutch companies in establishing close business relations with Turkmen partners to take part in implementation of large-scale reformatory programmes on modernization of the national economy of Turkmenistan. The issues of mutually beneficial cooperation and opportunities for implementation of joint projects in the spheres of transport and communication were discussed during the meeting. Cooperation in the fuel and energy sphere, agricultural sector as well as in the area of cultural and scientific exchange was defined among the priority spheres.
The meeting participants appreciated highly the huge potential for intensification of the bilateral cooperation and underlined the readiness of the business circles of the Netherlands to share the rich experience and advanced technologies in various spheres wit Turkmenistan.
