President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan to consider the priority issues of the state policy life and a number of important documents.
Vice Premiers reported on the preparations for the 5th meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Austrian Commission to be held in Ashgabat on November 27 and the Days of the US Culture in Turkmenistan, which will be organized in Ashgabat, Mary Velayat and Lebap Velayat on November 23-25.
It was also noted that 1.112 million tons of ‘white gold’ were delivered to the ‘kharman’ of the Motherland and the winter crops sowing campaign successfully completed.
The Vice Premiers reported on the outcomes of the visit of the Turkmen delegation to the Republic of Tatarstan, on drafting a project on creation of a new large oil, gas and chemical complex, on the preparations for a regular meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CIS members States to be held in Ashgabat on December 4, the international forum dedicated to the fifth anniversary of opening a UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA) in Ashgabat. It was reported on the preparations for the International Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2012” scheduled for November 14-16 and the 17th International Scientific Conference on the Key Trends for Development of the Oil and Gas Industry of Turkmenistan and International Cooperation.
During the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolutions on construction of eight elevators in various regions of the country, on holding the international forum dedicated to the fifth anniversary of opening a UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA) in Ashgabat, on sending a Turkmen delegation including members of the Galkynysh Group of National Equestrian Games of the Ahalteke Equestrian Complex under the President of Turkmenistan and artists of the State Circus of Turkmenistan to Minsk to give a performance at the State Circus of Belarus.
It was also reported on the preparations for construction of the 12th turn of apartment houses along the Atamyrat Niyazov Avenue in Ashgabat and reconstruction of a section of the Avenue. According to the project 14 apartment houses with improved conditions, two schools designed for 600 pupils, two kindergartens designed for 160 children, an office building of the State Bank for Development of Turkmenistan and three underground passages will be built there.
Considering the projects, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the relevant documents authorizing construction.
The other important issues were considered and relevant decisions were adopted during the meeting.
