On the instruction of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairwoman of the Parliament of the country A. Nurberdiyeva received credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Czech Republic Mr. Ginek Peyhi. On behalf of the head of Turkmenistan, the Chairwoman of the National Parliament congratulated the high guest on appointment to responsible diplomatic post, having wished successes in the field of strengthening of ties of friendship and cooperation between Turkmenistan and Czech Republic.

In the course of view exchange on prospects of development of the Turkmen-Czech relations, it was noted the necessity of expansion of trade-economic and humanitarian contacts. Particular emphasis was made on stirring up of interaction in cultural, educational and scientific spheres. With a view of strengthening of mutual understanding and confidence, expansion of constructive dialogue between two countries, it was also noted the importance of establishment of close inter-Parliamentary ties.

Today, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Czech Republic was also received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The issues of strengthening of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation on long-term basis became the subject of interested discussion.
