President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan to consider a number of important state policy issues.
Vice Premiers reported on the preparations for the Day of Economy of Germany in Ashgabat scheduled for November 21 and the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Ukraine to be held on November 26-28. The Turkmen leader was also informed on the outcomes of participation of the Turkmen delegation in the meeting of the Joint committee on cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UAE and the meeting of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs within the framework of the talks Central Asia + Japan, the meeting of the Executing Committee and the 31st General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia.
It was also reported on the progress in implementing the agricultural activities, on the preparations for opening of the Ruhabat bakery industrial complex, holding the II International Cotton Fair on November 24-25 and the International Scientific Conference entitled “Cotton Industry of Turkmenistan and World Market” as well as for the Harvest day. The Turkmen leader was informed on the existing situation at the important objects and facilities of the social and industrial infrastructure as well as the work of the oil and gas complex.
The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolutions on construction of a new business centre of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, “On the contest on occasion of the Turkmen Horse Day”, the Resolution on establishment of the State Commission on construction of water desalination plants on the Caspian Coast and approved the draft of the State Programme on privatization of state enterprises and facilities in Turkmenistan for 2013-2016.
The other important issues were considered and relevant decisions were adopted during the meeting.
