President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conducted a video conference with the heads of ministries and departments and Ashgabat khyakim, who reported on the existing situation in the spheres under their supervision and on the fulfilment of the Turkmen leader’s instructions.
The issues put on the agenda of the video conference included the priority tasks on the social and economic development of the country and the large-scale national programmes, including those ones implemented in the oil and gas industry, and such spheres as transport, communications, sports and tourism.
During the video conference the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution authorizing Acting Minister of the Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan K. Abdyllaev to visit Warsaw, the Republic of Poland to take part in the 23d meeting of the Energy Charter Conference.
The President of Turkmenistan demanded the head of the State Committee for Sports to organize meetings within the framework of the his forthcoming working visit to the Republic of Turkey with the aim to share experience in the sphere of sports and study the methods of organization of international sports contests at the high level.
The project of a new tourist map of Turkmenistan drafted with the aim to improve the work of the national tourist industry, open new tourist routes and promote the tourist potential of our country all around the world was presented to the Turkmen leader for consideration.
During the conference President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution on changing the organizational and legal status of the Altyn Asyr cellular communications enterprise of the Turkmentelekom State Telecommunications Company and establishing the Altyn Asyr Close Corporation. The Turkmen leader instructed the relevant officials to keep solution of all issues under the rigorous control.
Commenting on the project of construction of an international passenger auto terminal in Ashgabat, the Turkmen leader made a number of specific comments and changes.
Summing up the video conference, the President of Turkmenistan underlined that successful implementation of the large-scale reforms would promote strengthening the economic potential of the country and improving the social and living conditions.
