Prospects of development of successful cooperation of many years have been discussed within the framework of bilateral meetings held today with the delegation of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development at the head of director of EBRD for Turkmenistan and several other countries Mr. Verner Gruber arrived in Ashgabat on a working visit.
In the first half of the day, the representatives of the largest world bank were received at the Government of Turkmenistan and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where it was held interested view exchange on further ways of intensification of the traditional partnership. Detailed discussion of these issues continued within the framework of meetings at the Central Bank of Turkmenistan and State Commercial Bank “Halkbank”.
Speaking about possibilities of expansion of businesslike contacts within the framework of large national and international projects, being realized in Turkmenistan, the participants of the meetings noted such long-term trends of partnership as energy, transport and communications, agriculture, small and medium business, construction and production of building materials, sphere of insurance, education and science.
