President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip round the capital to see the progress in implementing the urban development programme and considered a number of new construction projects.
The Turkmen leader visited a number of newly constructed buildings erected along the Archabil Avenue, where a new administrative, business and cultural centre of the Turkmen capital is formed. In the near future the parade of new architectural premiers will continue in this part of our white-marble capital.
Within the framework of the working trip, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the building of the Ministry of Railway Transport of Turkmenistan, the administrative building of the economic complex of the country that will host the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy and Development and the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of Turkmenistan.
The Turkmen leader considered the progress of construction of the buildings of the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan, the Turkmenautoyollary State Concern and the Ministry of Motor Transport of Turkmenistan, visited the territory of the Theater and Concert Centre designed for 3,000 seats, the construction site of the Maslahat Merkezi multifunctional complex that will host conferences, exhibitions and other cultural events.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that new administrative buildings for all sectoral departments were built in the country within the framework of the urban development programme. All of them are supplied with the most advanced communications facilities, engineering and technological equipment as well as specialized technologies. In this regard, the Turkmen leader focused on training high-qualified personnel to maintain new facilities.
After examining the progress of construction of new buildings, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave specific instructions to the high-ranking officials concerning the functionality and equipment of the objects under construction. The Turkmen leader emphasized that all new buildings should harmoniously combine advanced urban planning technologies with the national architectural traditions to avoid the monotony in the architectural design of the city and vividly demonstrate the spirit of new time.
Summing up the working visit, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave specific instructions to Vice Premiers, Ashgabat Khyakim and other officials. The Turkmen leader emphasized that the quality standards and construction schedule must be met and demanded the high-ranking officials to ensure acceleration of paces of construction works.
