Today, on the instruction of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Chairwoman of the Parliament of Turkmenistan A. Nurberdiyeva received credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic of Austria in Turkmenistan Wolfgang Banay.

As the ambassador plenipotentiary underlined, Austria highly appreciates the relations of friendship and constructive partnership established between two countries. A regular meeting of the Turkmen-Austrian Joint Commission, taking place today in Ashgabat, is a vivid evidence of this fact.

In the course of the meeting, cooperation in trade-economic sphere and fuel-energy sector, in the field of science and high technologies, public health and tourism was ranked among priority trends of further interaction of two countries.
