On December 5, a regular meeting of the Council of the heads of CIS states will be held in Ashgabat. It crowns the scale, multi-aspect activity realized by Turkmenistan as the country, presiding in the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2012.
Being honorary duty, the chairmanship in the Commonwealth of Independent States also imposed on Turkmenistan a big responsibility, including provision of high organizational level of all events planned within the framework of CIS. Artlessly, a third of them were held in Turkmenistan.
Apotheosis of this scale work will become the Summit of the heads of CIS states, which will take place in the Turkmen capital under chairmanship of the President of Turkmenistan. Already the day before December 4, the heads of representative delegations of the member countries of the Commonwealth started to arrive in the international airport of Ashgabat. They will have to discuss a wide range of issues of political, economic, cultural-humanitarian cooperation.
