President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan to consider the priority issues of the state policy life and drafts of important documents.
Vice Premiers reported on the preparations for the Turkmen-Romanian Business Forum to be held in Ashgabat on December 14, the International Conference “Neutrality and Preventive Diplomacy: the foundation of peace and security” that will take place in the Turkmen capital on December 11 on occasion of the 5th anniversary of opening of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia in Ashgabat and informed the Turkmen leader on the outcomes of a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
It was reported on the preparations for participation in the 56th meeting of the CIS Economic Council in Moscow on December 14 and holding the scientific and practical conference “the Revival of the Great Silk Road in the epoch of might and happiness: the deep roots and modern opportunities”. It is expected that over 60 prominent scientists and heads of scientific and research centres from 34 world countries as well as their Turkmen colleagues.
The Vice Premiers reported on the existing situation in the agro-industrial complex, on the progress in implementing the seasonal agricultural activities, including treatment of winter wheat and preparation of agricultural fields for sowing crops as well as the readiness of cattle breeding farms for winter.
It was reported on the progress of construction works, on the existing situation in the spheres of transport and communications, on construction of new railroads, airports and reconstruction of highways.
The other important state policy issues were considered and the decisions were adopted during the meeting. In the conclusion of the meeting, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished all participants of the meeting success in their work in the name of wellbeing of the Motherland and happy life of the people of Turkmenistan.
